Review: Revolution Conceal and Define Foundation and Concealer

Since going cruelty free six months ago, I’ve struggled in the foundation department. True, it doesn’t exactly help that my skin has a whole plethora of weird and not-so wonderful issues, but finding an affordable foundation to take the place of my old favourites seemed impossible. Then I stumbled upon the Revolution Conceal and Define Foundation and everything changed.

Well, I say I stumbled upon it. I trudged from one Superdrug to the next desperately seeking it out. It was sold out everywhere and I eventually resorted to ordering it online. But it was worth the hassle and then some!

The Revolution Conceal and Define Foundation

This foundation delivers on all the main points for me. For starters, I’m a full-coverage kind of girl and this foundation does not disappoint. In one fair swipe, all my freckles, blotches and various other things to be hidden disappear, leaving me with a smooth, even and flawless base to work with. There are no ‘cake face’ issues and it doesn’t accentuate my enormous pores. Big thumbs up.

The staying power is very impressive too. The foundation can stand up to my oily areas and doesn’t sink into fine lines as the day goes on. Throughout a long day I only need a few light touchups around my biggest problem areas to keep everything looking spic and span.

Then there’s the price point. At £9, the Revolution Conceal and Define Foundation is hands down one of the best value foundations I’ve come across. There are also an impressive 18 shades to choose from, making it an affordable foundation that everyone can try.

The Revolution Conceal and Define Concealer

As if an ultra full-coverage, long-wearing foundation under £10 wasn’t enough, there’s a concealer to match. The Revolution Conceal and Define Concealer offers the same level of coverage in a creamy, easy to blend formula that banishes blemishes without sinking into fine lines. It’s undoubtedly my new favourite concealer to date!

With an incredible 24 shades to choose from and an unbeatable price of just £4, I can’t recommend this concealer highly enough.

The Revolution Conceal and Define foundation and concealer are my new makeup bag must-haves. They give an absolutely flawless finish, they’re super affordable and, best of all, they’re totally cruelty free!
