April went by in some kind of blur. Was I here for it? Did I somehow sleep through the whole thing? Honestly, I’m not really sure what happened, but I do know that it’s about time to share my April project pan update 2021. I’m still focussing on my big makeup use-up and I really want to get through as many products as possible this year.
By the way, if you’d like to learn more about my 2021 low buy year, check out this link!
April Project Pan Update
There’s been some pretty impressive success in a few of my project pan products throughout April…and some not so impressive results too. Overall, I’d say it’s slow, but steady progress.
1. Nars Blush – Deep Throat
I’ve seen some more satisfying progress with this blush. I love seeing that pan grow each month. Now the big question is, will I be able to finish it by the end of the year?
2. Benefit High Beam
It’s finished! You wouldn’t be able to tell by looking at it because the sides of the bottle are coated in product, but it’s been used up. Another small victory!
3. Clinique Pore Refining Solutions Charcoal Face Mask
I didn’t post my results from March (I know – I’m an eternal procrastinator and I’m sorry!), but I finished my Garnier Clarifying Foam and swapped it for this Clinique face masque. It’s slow going with this because it’s quite drying for my skin and I have to use it sparingly, but it’s coming along.
4. OGX Argan Oil of Morocco Hair Oil
This is another newbie from last month. This definitely has the potential to drive me crazy because hair oil is so difficult to get through, but get through it we shall.
5. Soap & Glory Daily Smooth Body Butter
This is another product I swapped into the project pan in March after using up all of my Bath & Bodyworks lotion. I’m getting through this one fairly quickly because it’s so darn thick!
6. Clinique Long Last Lipstick – Pink Spice
Can you believe it? This is almost done! Guys, this has been in my project pan since February of 2020 and it’s finally almost used up. Can we all please agree to celebrate when this is finally gone?
7. Matalan Ocean Candle
I swapped in this new candle in March and let me tell you – I am less than impressed. It doesn’t really smell of anything. Hence I’ve struggled to use it this month because…well, it’s just not very memorable.
Project Pan Recap
Just to keep everyone (myself included) up to date, here’s how things are looking so far this year.
Used up:
- Garnier Light Gentle Clarifying Foam
- Bio-Oil
- Bath & Body Works Lotion – Bonjour Paris
- Parlane Candle – Orchard Pear and Cucumber
- Benefit High Beam
That means I need to use up another 16 products to reach my goal of panning 21 items in 2021. So…wish me luck.
